Brihadeshwara temple stands as marvel of ancient Indian architecture, Buit over a thousand years ago by King Raja Raja Chola I , located in the city of Thanjavur in Tamilnadu. 

Dedicated to lord shiva, the entire temple is built on the rules of axial and symmetrical geometry, displaying an engineering marvel of that time .
